Handy Park was an agency initiative for the Morelia City Transit to tackle the rising problem of drivers using reserved handicapped parking spots. Unfortunately, the video case is not subtitled, however, in a nutshell, we created this device capable of scanning vehicle plates and verifying if they are authorized to occupy the reserved parking spots.
We came up with this idea, but it was built with the concerted effort of the Tecnológico de Morelia (software) and the Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Morelia (hardware).
